The brief

Almost every salon site buries pricing, which makes booking feel like a negotiation. But publishing a price list usually looks like a spreadsheet and destroys the atmosphere. The design had to make transparency feel generous rather than cheap.

Design direction

The price list is set like an editorial index — large service names, hairline rules, prices aligned in a true tabular column. It reads as confidence, not a discount. Around it, portraiture and a restrained fashion-editorial layout carry the atmosphere, and booking runs the length of the page as a persistent, quiet invitation.

What it includes

  • Full price list as the centrepiece, set as an editorial index
  • Booking available continuously without a pop-up in sight
  • Stylist profiles with individual availability
  • Before-and-after gallery with real crops, not filters
  • Instagram feed handled without slowing the page down

Art direction

Fashion-editorial portraiture: single soft key light, neutral warm-grey seamless backdrop, subject three-quarter turned away, hair the clear subject. Shot on a longer lens, minimal retouching, visible skin texture. Avoid the stock-photo smile entirely — the mood is composed and quiet, closer to a magazine masthead than a salon brochure.
